The Central Wisconsin State Fair – Labor Day 2012

The roof of The World’s Largest Round Barn, Marshfield, WI.

Last weekend our family experienced something new!  The Central Wisconsin State Fair in Marshfield, WI is reportedly the home of the World’s Largest Round Barn in existence.  While I am not going to spend the time fact checking that claim, I was nonetheless impressed with the structure!  We were lucky to have some time along the way to stop at a driving range and miniature golf course (I lost) and Luke has suddenly discovered he may have an interest in golf.  Lucky for him, Steinthal is only a few miles away from The Badger Creek Golf Course and I am hoping that we can head over there some weekend to try out some different drivers.

On the driving range.  Note Emily’s ball strategically located behind her driver…

Pygmy goats were a big hit.  Sophie thinks we should have a few on Steinthal….
The winner!

The proud owner of the winning Pygmy goat!
Noah loved the little bunnies.
The draft horse show was exciting to watch and we spent a lot of time watching these massive creatures work!
