Pre-Christmas Eggstravaganza!

A pair of Grade B Medium (at best) Christmas miracles were gifted to me tonight as I fed and watered the hen and her rooster.  The first to be provided after the flock was decimated by a pair of ravenous dogs earlier this year.  The couple are happily tucked away in their heated coop awaiting tonight’s blizzard due in a few hours.  Sophie and I got out the flashlight to ensure without any doubt that the eggs contained nothing more than a yolk.    We are looking forward to next years new flock complete with a reinforced (and hopefully dog-proof) chicken fence.
