After a 10 hour day we have decided to pull over at a Superamerica gas station where we loaded up with diesel and were given permission to spend the night.   The bean field behind us is full of fireflies as we watch the sunset.   It was a beautiful site until an 18 wheeler pulled up on the other side of us with a load full of smelly squealing hogs.   The interstate is less than 100 yards from my bedroom window and the metal halide lights are blaring.     Might be a short night for us here….    and now the mosquitoes are starting to discover us.       The joys of camping…..    Ahhhh so serene….   Peace and goodnight.

Lukas was hoping for some trees to hang his hammock. No such luck tonight.

The scenic view out my window.
